For the seventeenth consecutive year, Ebenezer has been named a Star Tribune Top Workplace, a recognition that reflects something far more meaningful than an award. It reflects our people.
This year, employees rated Ebenezer's Overall Workplace Experience at 76%, a five-point increase from March 2025. We also saw significant gains across key measures of employee engagement and workplace culture:
These results tell an important story. They show that our employees increasingly feel connected to our mission, supported by their teams, valued for their contributions, and empowered to do meaningful work every day.
Because this recognition is based entirely on employee feedback, it is one of the most meaningful honors we can receive.
At Ebenezer, our mission is to heal, discover, and educate for longer, healthier, meaningful lives, and that commitment extends beyond the residents we serve to the people who make that work possible every day. Being a Top Workplace means creating an environment where employees feel respected, heard, supported, and empowered to grow. For more than 100 years, we've worked to build communities where both residents and employees can thrive, and this year's results reflect that commitment. Through tuition assistance, scholarships, leadership development programs, mentorship opportunities, and career advancement pathways, we continue to invest in helping employees build meaningful careers while making a difference in the lives of others.
The greatest increase in this year's survey came in employees feeling fairly valued, rising nine points, while employee engagement increased eight points. These improvements are a reflection of the relationships and culture that define Ebenezer. From caregivers and nurses to dining staff, housekeepers, life enrichment teams, and corporate employees, every team member contributes to an environment where people feel connected, supported, and part of something bigger than themselves. Together, these everyday interactions create a workplace where employees feel valued and empowered, and where people choose to build lasting careers serving older adults and their families.
Being named a Star Tribune Top Workplace for 17 consecutive years is an incredible milestone, but it is not something we achieve alone.
To every employee who brings their talents, compassion, and commitment to Ebenezer each day—thank you.
Your feedback, dedication, and belief in our mission continue to shape the workplace we are building together. Because of you, Ebenezer remains a place where people can build meaningful careers, create lasting connections, and make a difference in the lives of older adults and their families.
