Employee Spotlight: Ashley Jackson, Executive Director at Amira Choice Roseville

In this week’s Employee Spotlight, we’re excited to feature Ashley Jackson, Executive Director at Amira Choice Roseville. Ashley, along with other incredible team members, was selected to be highlighted in Ebenezer’s upcoming 2025 Impact Report, which will be shared soon with our communities. This series is designed to shine a spotlight on the growth and job opportunities within Ebenezer, showcasing the career journeys of our dedicated employees and the meaningful work they do to support our residents.

A Journey Rooted in Purpose

Ashley’s career at Ebenezer began as a Certified Nursing Assistant while she was working toward her Nursing Home Administrator license. Early on, she knew that senior living was where she wanted to be. “The most fulfilling part of my journey is seeing the impact we have on residents' lives, and I’m grateful to be part of a team that values people above all else,” Ashley says. Working directly with residents gave her a deep understanding of their needs and fueled her passion for this field.

Growing at Every Step

Over the years, Ashley has stepped into several roles, each helping her grow as a leader and expand her perspective. She’s taken on positions such as Project Manager and Human Resources, learning how to support and develop the teams that make such a difference in residents' lives. “What excites me most about my current role is the chance to work alongside an amazing team that’s passionate about serving others,” Ashley shares. With each role, Ashley built the skills she needed to step into her current position as Executive Director.

The Power of Promoting from Within Ebenezer

For Ashley, one of the most rewarding aspects of her career has been growing within the organization. “Growing within the organization helps build a deeper connection with residents, and it gives staff the opportunity to take on new challenges while supporting the same mission,” she explains. Ashley believes promoting from within is essential to creating a team that is both experienced and fully committed to Ebenezer’s values. By offering internal career advancement, we can maintain strong, trusting relationships with residents and continue providing exceptional care.

Advice for Career Growth

If you’re looking to grow your career at Ebenezer, Ashley has some great advice: “Stay engaged, ask questions, and take initiative. Be proactive in seeking new opportunities and never hesitate to build relationships with colleagues and leadership.” She encourages everyone to embrace the journey, no matter where it leads, and to always stay focused on what truly matters. “At Ebenezer, we’re all focused on making a difference in the lives of residents, and that’s what makes every step in the journey meaningful.”
