Deer Crest Senior Living Pays Tribute to Veterans with Wall of Honor
In honor of Veterans Day, Ebenezer is proud to help highlight Deer Crest Senior Living’s Wall of Honor, a permanent tribute dedicated to the veterans and their spouses who call Deer Crest home. This beautiful display, created with the artistic vision of local artist Dena Young, celebrates the courage, sacrifice, and unwavering dedication of those who served in the armed forces.
The Wall of Honor recognizes 19 veterans and 7 veteran spouses who reside at Deer Crest in Red Wing, MN, as well as the many others connected to the community. The tribute serves as a reminder of the strength, resilience, and values embodied by these brave men and women. It is a space where stories of courage, sacrifice, and devotion to country are forever honored.
As Executive Director Crislyn Harnisch shared, "Honoring our veterans is one of the most meaningful things we do at Deer Crest. Each name on our Wall of Honor represents a story of courage and sacrifice, and we are proud to celebrate these heroes who continue to inspire us every day."
Along with the tribute here at Deer Crest, many other Ebenezer communities have public displays to honor veterans.
