May 2024, the National Senior Cooperative Foundation, presented their distinguished Leadership Award to Ebenezer’s, Nadette Waligora, Director of Homeowner Associations. This prestigious accolade recognizes a national leader contributing to cooperatives with exceptional statesmanship, innovative approach, unwavering personal dedication, outstanding leadership, and forward-thinking vision. Nominators highlighted Waligora’s compassionate guidance, prompt responsiveness to various needs and concerns, unwavering dedication, commitment to keeping cooperative leaders informed about relevant laws and best practices, advocacy for seniors, willingness to share resources, efforts in promoting age-friendly environments, and exceptional problem-solving abilities. This is the 12th Senior Cooperative Foundation award given to an Ebenezer employee for outstanding service.
Today, Ebenezer is expanding their range of senior services by introducing new additions to their portfolio. One of their recent innovations involves the creation and establishment of their own cooperative brand called Estoria. Currently, they are in the process of developing two cooperative communities under this brand, namely Estoria of Lakeville and Estoria of Oak Marsh. Additionally, Ebenezer is actively involved in the development of The American Cooperative on Lake Phalen.
